CODE OF CONDUCT
As members of the Victory Voices Gospel Choir, we represent not only ourselves but also our choir family, our community, and the message of the Gospel. To ensure our choir remains a place of unity, joy, and ministry, all members agree to the following:
1. Kindness & Respect
Treat one another with kindness, patience, and encouragement.
Listen attentively during rehearsals and performances. Value the contributions of every member, regardless of skill level or background.
2. Language & Conduct
Use language that is uplifting. Profanity, cursing, or offensive speech has no place in our choir. Avoid gossip, criticism, or behavior that could cause division. Conduct yourself in a way that reflects the love of Christ and honors the choir’s mission.
3. Dress & Appearance
At rehearsals and performances, please dress modestly and conservatively.
Performance attire may be directed by the choir leadership (robes, coordinated outfits, etc.). Remember that how we present ourselves reflects the spirit of the choir.
4. Commitment & Responsibility
Attend rehearsals regularly and arrive on time. Practice your parts at home to contribute fully to the ensemble. Notify the director if you will be absent or late.
5. Representation of the Choir
When participating in choir activities, remember you are an ambassador for the Victory Voices Gospel Choir. Show gratitude and humility in all public engagements.
Agreement
By joining the Victory Voices Gospel Choir, each member commits to upholding this Code of Conduct, ensuring our choir remains a place of harmony, encouragement, and testimony through song.
